From time to time I tend to review glitters and nail flakies, and today is a day like that. :) Born Pretty Store sent me these rosegold-ish colored Holographic Nail Flakies* [link], which you can use with nail polish and also, gel polish. :)

A pigment egy lezárható tasakban érkezett, szokás szerint, a tégelyben pedig kb. 1 gramm flakie-pehely található.
Mi is ez a flakie-pehely? Holografikus szivárványokat szóró “darabkákból” áll, azonban nem glitter, így nem nehéz lemosni! Hasonló a króm porhoz, mégis más, mert darabos. Van olyan pehely,ami beledörzsölhető a felületbe, na ez sajnos nem olyan - vagy legalábbis nekem nem sikerült... így én csak a körömre szórva, ill. rakosgatva tudtam használni. Átlátszó lakkba, fedőlakkba és géllakkba is tehető, a sima fedőlakk sem "rontja el". :)

The flakie pigment comes in a little jar and the volume is about 1 grams. So this pigment is similar to chrome mirror pigments, yet different. It’s in bigger pieces, flakes, which gives it a shattered look. Usually these pigments can be buffed into the nail, but I didn't have much luck with this one. So I sprinkled & placed it on top of still wet nail polish or gel polish for a scattered “glitter-like” finish. And good news: this pigment CAN be used with just regular nail polish, quick drying topcoat doesn’t ruin it! But you can absolutely use this with gel polish as well.

Nos, bevallom, itt picit csaltam, mert nem a tip tetejére tettem a pelyheket, hanem a hátuljára, de mivel átlátszó, így fordítva is látszódik. ;) Szóval önmagában, több rétegben így néz ki. (Géllakkal.)

I have to admit something: here I placed the flakes on the underside of the swatchstick, in multiple layers, but as the tip is clear, the flakes show up nicely. ;) So this is how it looks on it's own, in multiple layers. (With gel polish.)

Itt pedig azt láthatjátok, hogy is néz ki géllakkal illetve sima körömlakkal, fekete és fehér alapon. A pelyheket szórtam a felületbe (lakkba ill. géllakkba), majd a körömlakkosokra rendes fedőlakkot, a géllakkosokra pedig köttetés után fixmentes gél fedőt kentem.

And here you can see how it looks on nail polish and gel polish (on black and white base color). I sprinkled the flakes into the nail polish and gel polish, and after that, on the nail polish ones I applied a regular topcoat, and on the gel polish ones, after curing, I applied no-wipe gel topcoat.

Itt pedig a körmön látható, géllakkal. :) Mint mondtam, nem tudtam beledolgozni úgy a körömbe, mint a régebben tesztelt BPS Galaxy Holo Flakes pelyheket [teszt itt], így beleszórtam a gél felületébe, majd beleköttettem. A mutató- és kisujjam körmén egy apró ecsettel tettem a helyükre a pelyheket. A középső körmömön alapszín nélkül, két rétegben láthatóak a pelyhek. Végezetül mindre fixmentes gél fedőlakk került. :)

And here you can see it on the nail, with gel polish. :) As I said I couldn't buff it into the nail surface like I could the BPS Galaxy Holo Flakes I reviewed a year ago [review here], so I sprinkled the flakes into the gel (on the nail) and cured it into that. On my pointer- and pinky nails I set the flakes into place with a small detail brush. And on my middle fingernail you can see the flakes in 2 coats, on it's own, no base color. And to finish off everything I applied a no-wipe gel topcoat to each nail. :)
