Ez a bejegyzés már nagyon, de nagyon régóta várat magára... még tavaly vettem meg kipróbálásra az essence - akkor új - metal shock körömpúdereit, aztán elfelejtettem őket tesztelni. Most viszont láttam, hogy a kifutó termékek között vannak (bár az új melted chrome pigmentek elég hasonlónak tűnnek nekem, max más színben, így tudjátok annál is, hogy mire számítsatok), így eldöntöttem, elkészítem a teszteket, hogy ti is lássátok, hogy néznek ki. :)
Hatféle pigment kapható egyébként (egy ezüst króm, egy arany króm, és négy színjátszó króm), én ebből csak négyet vettem meg, ezek: 02 me and my unicorn (lila/kék színjátszó duokróm), 04 a touch of vintage (arany króm), 05 under the sea (kék színjátszó duokróm) és 06 be my little mermaid (teal/zöld színjátszó duokróm). Mint említettem, most épp le vannak árazva az üzletekben, mivel kiárusítják őket, így elég kedvező áron juthattok hozzájuk ha úgy döntötök, ti is ki akarjátok őket próbálni. :)

Well, I wanted to make this post for a long, long time... Last year I bought these essence metal shock nail powders - back then when they were new. Then I forgot to review them. Now essence is discontinuing them, so they are on sale here in Hungary, and I believe in other countries as well, so I thought at least now I could post my review pictures of them, so you can see how they look and if you'd like to try them out as well. That being said, I've seen the promotional photos of the new products essence releases for F/W 2018, and I'd say the melted chrome nail powders look pretty similar to me, so I guess you could expect the same quality/results from those too. But that's just my theory! ;)
So essence originally released 6 colors of nail powders: 1 silver chrome, 1 gold chrome and 4 duochromes. I only bought 4 of them, so today you can read my review on those, which are: 02 me and my unicorn (purple/blue duochrome), 04 a touch of vintage (gold chrome), 05 under the sea (blue duochrome) and 06 be my little mermaid (teal/green duochrome). As I said they are on sale now for, so you can grab 'em cheaper if you'd like to try them. :)
Körömlakkal és géllakkal is lehet használni ezeket a körömpúdereket. Véleményem szerint géllakkal egyszerűbb, szebb és tartósabb eredmény érhető el... és könnyebb is így használni. Körömlakkon, még a vízbázisú fedővel is, nekem szemcsés lett a felület.
Dance Legend Glitter Base lakkal is működnek. ;)
Körömlakkal:
1. Alapszín 1-2 rétegben, attól függ, hogy fed. Sötét alapon jobban látszódik minden pigment.
2. Pár perc száradás után, mikor már nem kenődik a lakk, óvatosan dolgozd bele a pigmentet, ügyelve, nehogy megnyomd a lakkot. Ehhez használhatsz egy pici ecsetet, szemhéjpúder-applikátort, vagy az ujjadat.
3. Söpörd le a felesleget, majd kend fel a vízbázisú fedőlakkot.
4. A vízbázisú fedőlakk száradása után kend fel a rendes fedőlakkot, és kész is!
Géllakkal:
1. Alapszín 1-2 rétegben + köttetés, attól függ, hogy fed. Sötét alapon jobban látszódik minden pigment.
2. Fixmentes gél fedő, azaz ne legyen rajta ragacsos réteg köttetés után! Pl. Moyra Clever Cover, Born Pretty NoWipe UV&LED Topcoat, stb. Köttetés.
3. Dolgozd bele a körömfelületbe a pigmentet. Ehhez használhatsz egy pici ecsetet, szemhéjpúder-applikátort, vagy az ujjadat.
3. Söpörd le a felesleget, majd kend fel a fixmentes fedő géllakkot újra. Köttesd, és kész is.
FONTOS: Ha körömlakkal használjátok a pigmentet, mindenképpen vízbázisú fedőlakkot (pl. essence metal shock fedőlakk, kapható a DM, Rossmann, Müller üzletekben) tegyetek rá, mert a sima fedőlakk hatására eltűnik a krómos hatás! (De ezután kerüljön rá rendes is, mert a vízbázisút oldja a víz!) Géllakkal fixmentes géllakkal működik legjobban a pigment.

You can use these powders with regular nail polish or gel polish. But I think they look better with a gel polish base, just because this way they are also easier to use, and it will last better. Plus, whenever I applied the water-based topcoat over the nail polish ones, no matter what, they always became a little pixelated.
P.s.: they work with Dance Legend Glitter Base nail polishes as well! ;)
With nail polish:
1. Apply your base color in 1-2 coats, depending on how it covers. Powders show up best over dark colors.
2. After a few minutes of drying, when it's not smudging but still tacky, gently buff the powder into the nail surface. For this you can use a small brush, an eyeshadow-applicator sponge, or your fingertips.
3. Dust off the excess powder and apply your waterbased topcoat.
4. When the waterbased topcoat is dry, apply your regular topcoat, and it's done!
With gel polish:
1. Apply your base color in 1-2 coats, depending on how it covers. Cure it in a LED/UV lamp. Powders show up best over dark colors.
2. Apply your no-wipe gel topcoat, and cure it. (No-wipe means it doesn't have a sticky residue layer after curing! e.g. Moyra Clever Cover, Born Pretty No-Wipe UV&LED Topcoat, etc.) Buff the powder into the nail surface. For this you can use a small brush, an eyeshadow-applicator sponge, or your fingertips.
3. Dust off the excess powder and apply your no-wipe gel topcoat again, cure, and it's done!
IMPORTANT: If you're using this pigment with nail polish as a base, you have to use a waterbased topcoat to preserve this mirror-like finish. Regular top coat or clear coat ruins the effect. (But after the waterbased topcoat, apply a regular topcoat because waterbased topcoats are water-soluble and will wash off!) If you're using it with gel polish, a no-wipe gel polish or gel top coat is best as a base and top as well.

02 me and my unicorn
Lila/kék színjátszó duokróm pigment, a tipeken fehér, fekete, lila és kék alapszíneken láthatjátok, géllakkal és sima körömlakkal. A sima körömlakkra vízbázisú fedőlakk került, a géllakkra fixmentes fedőgél. Ez a pigment kevésbé finomra őrölt a többihez képest, így szemcsésebb eredményt ad.
This is a purple/blue duochrome powder, on the swatchsticks you can see it over white, black, purple and blue, with gel polish and regular nail polish. Over the nail polish I used waterbased topcoat, and over the gel polish I used no-wipe gel topcoat. This pigment is not that finely milled, so it doesn't have as smooth of a chrome finish as those.

Ha nincs kedvetek online rendelni, szerintem ezek az essence körömpúderek nagyon jó lehetőségek arra, hogy kipróbáljátok a króm körömtrendet. Kíváncsi vagyok az új, őszi kollekció pigmentjeire is. :)

If you don't like ordering shuff online, I think these essence nail powders are a great way to try chrome nails. I'm really looking forward to see what the F/W 2018 nail powders look like! :)
