Cirque Colors Facets 2018 Collection || comparison swatches

Az eredeti Cirque Facets kollekcióból 2 lakkom van, amiket imádok, mert gyönyörűek (Garnet és Tanzanite), de sajnos kivonták a kollekciót. Így aztán nagyon megörültem, mikor megtudtam, hogy a Cirque visszahozza a kivont 6 Facets lakkot plusz még 6 új színt, így 12 darab állandó kollekciós lakk lesz. (Nem limitált!) Én hatot rendeltem meg közülük, ezek közül kettő a régiek újra kiadott változata (Paraiba és Dioptase), négy pedig az új színek közül való (Ruby, Zircon, Sapphire, Emerald).
Fontos: az új kollekció minden darabja kissé érdes felületűre szárad, mert vannak benne pelyhek amik kiállnak a köröm felületéből, így 2 réteg fedőlakk kell rájuk, hogy teljesen simák legyenek.

I only have 2 colors from the old/original Cirque Factets collection: Garnet and Tanzanite, and I love them dearly because they are gorgeous and also discontinued. So when I heard that Cirque Colors will re-release the previous 6 Facets shades along with 6 new colors (so 12 reformulated Facets), as part of the permanent collection, I became really excited. I immediately ordered 6 polishes, two of them are the reformulated versions of older colors (Paraiba & Dioptase) and 4 are new colors (Ruby, Zircon, Sapphire and Emerald).
Important: all of the new polishes (including the re-releases) have a slightly textured finish, because some of the holo flakes stick up from the nail, so they all need 2 coats of topcoat to make them completely smooth.

Holographic chevron double scaled gradient + video tutorial

Inspired by Simply Nailogical

Már régóta tetszik a scaled gradient díszítő technika, aztán a napokban végre arra is rávettem magam, hogy kipróbáljam. Az inspirációt ehhez a manikűrhöz Cristine (Simply Nailogical) videója (link) adta, de nem akartam három sávos átmenetet (triple scaled gradient) készíteni, így csak kettővel készítettem el, így double scaled gradient lett belőle, és a cikcakkos minta miatt még akár double scaled chevron scaled gradient-nek is lehet hívni. Hú, hosszú a neve. :D Én lila-kék/teal változatban készítettem el. Ja, és holografikus lakkokkal. :)

Úgy kezdődött az egész, hogy az alap a Cupcake Polish - Berry Good Looking volt (ami egyébként gyönyörű!), annyira tetszett, hogy nem akartam lemosni, így aztán mintáztam rá, így. :D Ez az első scaled gradient-em, de azt hiszem, egész jól sikerült. Ti mit gondoltok? :)

I was admiring scaled gradients for a long, long time, then I decided to try it out myself as well. My inspiration was Cristine's (Simply Nailogical) Dragon/chevron triple scaled gradient manicure but I wasn't brave enough to go for the triple scaled gradient, so instead I did a double scaled chevron gradient. Wiith purple and teal/blue holographic polishes. :)

Storytime: I was wearing Cupcake Polish - Berry Good Looking (which is gorgeous) and I wanted to do nail art but did not want to remove BGL... so this idea came, to do a scaled gradient. For a first time ever scaled gradient, I think I did alright. What do you think? :)
