Today I have a review post on two UR SUGAR building gels [Quick Building Extension Gel UR-02 White & UR-03 Pink*, link] and the complementary liquid [20ml Slip Solution*, link] that I got from Born Pretty Store for review purposes. :)
UR SUGAR 20ml Slip Solution* (ID #41873)
Ezekhez a zselékhez nem kötelező a slip solution, de használható. Gyógyszertári alkohollal vagy cleanserrel helyettesíthető.
The Slip Solution* isn't mandatory for these gels (these are builder gels, not polygels) but you can use it. You can substitute it with rubbing alcohol or cleanser.
UR SUGAR 15ml Quick Building Extension Gel UR-02 White* (ID #46252)
Fehér építőzselé. Könnyen terül, babyboomerhez jó lehet.
White builder gel. Spreads easily, good for babyboomer design I think.
UR SUGAR 15ml Quick Building Extension Gel UR-03 Pink* (ID #46252)
Rózsaszín építőzselé. Könnyen terül, használható dual formmal is (én is azzal használtam).
Pink builder gel. Spreads easily, can be used with dual forms too (I used it that way too).
How to use quick extension gels/polygels/acrylgels
1. Buff the nail surface lightly.
2. Apply a thin layer of base coat, and cure it under UV/LED lamp.
3. Select a suitable size dual form.
4. Apply the quick building on the dual form, then use a gel brush with the Slip Solution* to make the gel smooth. (Make sure it's thin around the cuticle area.)
5. When the gel is smooth, stick the form to your real nail, and make sure it touches everywhere. If some squeezes out, clean it off before curing and make sure it's smooth under the free edge area too. Then cure it under UV/LED lamp. (Use at least a 36W lamp for best results. I use the SUN1 48W LED lamp.)
6. Remove the form by gently squeezing it, so it separates from the product. Clean off the dispersion (sticky) layer under the free edge with cleanser (or rubbing alcohol, at least 90%), then file and shape according to your liking. Buff the surface slightly to make it matte, so the top coat or color you choose to apply over bonds better.
7. Apply top coat and cure it under UV/LED lamp.
2) Using a nail forms or tips
1. Buff the nail surface lightly.
(1.5. If using tips, stick them on with nail glue.)
2. Apply a very thin layer of base coat, and cure it under UV/LED lamp.
(2.5. If using nail forms, a nail form on your nail.)
3. Apply a layer of polygel with a brush (use the Slip Solution* so it doesn't stick and spreads better), and if you are doing extensions, make sure the apex is there, and cure it under UV/LED lamp. (Use at least a 36W lamp for best results. I use the SUN1 48W LED lamp.)
4. Apply a second layer of the gel, and if you are doing extensions, make sure the apex is there, and cure it under UV/LED lamp.
5. Take off the form. Clean off the dispersion (sticky) layer under the free edge with cleanser (or rubbing alcohol, at least 90%), then file and shape according to your liking. Buff the surface slightly to make it matte, so the top coat or color you choose to apply over bonds better.
6. Apply top coat and cure it under UV/LED lamp.
