Még régebben kaptam tesztre egy fekete króm port [link] a Born Pretty Store-tól tesztre, aztán amilyen ügyetlen voltam, elejtettem kiborítottam teszt közben, úgyhogy újat rendeltem, ami viszont lassan ért ide... de most itt van végre és bemutathatom. :)

A while ago I received a black chrome mirror powder [link] to review from Born Pretty Store but I was super clumsy and during the testing, I dropped it and spilled all of it. :( So I ordered a new one, which came in the mail really slowly, but it's finally here and I can show you what it is. :)

A pigment a szokásos csomagolásban érkezik, s lehet választani különböző kiszerelések közül: 0.5g vagy 1g. :) És most különösen jól jön a hozzá járó applikátor, mert ezzel tényleg szépen lehet felvinni, plusz, ha ujjal dörzsölitek a körömbe (ami amúgy más pigmentekhez csodásan működik!), megfogja az ujjbegyet a por... tartósan... én szóltam!

The pigment comes in the usual packaging, you can choose the volume: 0.5g or 1g. And the sponge applicator, that comes with it, comes really handy this time: first it can apply the pigment really nicely, and second, if you use your fingertips to buff it into the nail (which works wonders for many other pigments), this one can stain your fingertips... semi-permanently... I warned you!

Tipeken is teszteltem, géllakk és sima lakk alapon. Nagyon jól működik sima lakkon is. A géllakkos verziónál fixmentes alapra tettem és fixmentes fedővel zártam.

FONTOS: Ha körömlakkal használjátok a pigmentet, mindenképpen vízbázisú fedőlakkot (pl. essence metal shock fedőlakk, kapható a DM, Rossmann, Müller üzletekben) tegyetek rá, mert a sima fedőlakk hatására eltűnik a krómos hatás! Géllakkal fixmentes géllakkal működik legjobban a pigment.

I also tried it on swatchsticks with different bases. It works really well with nail polish as well! With the gel polish I put it on a no-wipe base, then topped it off with a coat of no-wipe top gel.

IMPORTANT: If you're using this pigment with nail polish as a base, you have to use a waterbased topcoat to preserve this mirror-like finish. Regular top coat or clear coat ruins the effect. If you're using it with gel polish, a no-wipe gel polish or gel top coat is best as a base and top as well.

Mint a képeken is látszódik, a pigment máshogyan néz ki fixmentes géllakk és körömlakk alap felett. Körömlakk felett inkább fekete-króm, míg géllakk felett inkább acélszürke. A tesztek során az is kiderült, hogy a gél fedőlakkom (Moyra Clever Cover) valamilyen mértékben vesz el a tükröződéséből, tompábbá téve a finisht úgy is, hogyha egyébként körömlakk alapra került – mert azon viszont nagyon látványos tükrös hatás érhető el! :) Pláne vízbázisú fedőlakkal. (Én az ÜNT alapomat használtam fedőlakknak, utána már mehet a rendes fedőlakk is.)
A két sor között amúgy sok különbség nincs, ugyanazok, csak teszteltem hogy több ill. kevesebb pigmenttel, tovább ill. kevesebb ideig beledörzsölve, kevesebb ill. hosszabb köttetéssel, kevesebb ill. hosszabb száradással, stb. hogy nézne ki.

As you can see on the swatches, the pigment looks different on gel polish vs. nail polish base. Over nail polish it’s truly a black mirror finish, while over a no-wipe gel it’s gunmetal. Also, it appears that my gel topcoat (Moyra Clever Cover) makes it a bit dull, even if applied over a nail polish base. However, over a nail polish base, topped with a waterbased topcoat, this pigment looks stunning! Truly mirror like, it’s amazing! :) (I used my ÜNT peel-off basecoat as topcoat, and then a regular topcoat.)
There's no difference between the two rows, I was just experimenting with less & more powder, shorter or longer buffing, shorter and longer curing and drying time, etc.

És ilyen a körmön. :) Dance Legend Glitter Base (körömlakk) alapra tettem, a mutató- és középső körmön ÜNT lehúzható alap van fedőlakknak, aztán rendes fedő, a gyűrűs- és kisujjam körmén pedig fixmentes gél fedő van. Talán látszik, hogy az utóbbi kettő kevésbé tükrös - ahogy fentebb is írtam, kissé tompítja a tükröződést... de a vízbázisú fedőlakk nem! :)
Tipp: a pigment nagyon tapad a bőrre is, úgyhogy azt javaslom, tegyetek a körmötök köré bőrvédőt, latexet, bármit, hogy egyszerűbb legyen a takarítás. Persze, lejön szappannal és vízzel, de igencsak dörzsölni kellett, mire lejött...

And here's how it looks on the nail. :) I applied it on Dance Legend Glitter base black (nail polish) base, on my pointer and middle nail the top coat is my ÜNT peel-off base (as topcoat, because it's waterbased) plus a regular topcoat, and on my ring and pinky fingernails I used a no-wipe gel topcoat. I think you can see it slightly that the ring and pinky nails are a tad bit less reflective than the other two - as I said, the gel topcoat makes it a bit more dull. But waterbased topcoat doesn't! :)
Quick tip: as the pigment sticks really well to the skin as well, use a cuticle protector product of sorts, so it makes cleanup easier. Of course it cleans off with soap and water but I had to scrub it well to clean it off...
