Folytatódik a Born Pretty Store tesztsorozatom, ezúttal egy körömdíszítő sablonról olvashattok, de valószínűleg gyakrabban fogom használni az angol elnevezést, a nail vinyl-t, mert a sablon nekem valahogy olyan idegen. :D Ez az NF206 nail vinyl, csíkos mintázatú, és 9 darabot tartalmaz a csomag. Persze ezek elég nagy méretűek, így egy darab kettévágva elég 2 körömre is. Ja, és említettem, hogy holografikus? :D

Continuing on with my Born Pretty Store reviews, here's the next one. It's about the NF206 holographic nail vinyl set. It contains 9 stickers, which are pretty large so if you cut them you can easily use 1 sticker for 2 nails. And it is holographic! Did I mention that? :D

Nemrég Petra, a Pet'la Plate lemezek megálmodója megkeresett, hogy lenne-e kedvem manikűröket készíteni a lemezekkel, és, hogy küldene néhányt. Bevallom, én azt hittem, 3-4 darabot kapok tesztelésre maximum, ezért amikor megérkezett a boríték, benne a 8 darab (!!!) lemezzel, egy kisebb sokkot kaptam. Nagyon köszönöm még egyszer, Petra! :)

A nyolc lemez között lapult a Mente is, melyen különböző, a népi díszítőművészetben is megtalálható sujtásos díszítések találhatóak. A mente egyébként egy ruhadarab, hogy pontosan milyen, azt a Magyar Néprajzi Lexikon szócikkében el is olvashatja az, akit érdekel a téma. :)

Recently Petra, founder of Pet'la Plate contacted me if I was interedted in creating some stamping designs with her plates, and that she would send me some. Of course I said yes, but to be honest, I was expecting that I would receive around 3-4 plates, so when the package came and it was not 3, and not 4 but 8 (yes, that's right, EIGHT!) plates in it, I was blown away. Thank you so much again, Petra! :)

Mente was one of the plates that I received. So, what does mente mean? It is hungarian for pelisse, and it often has a soutache (in hungarian: sujtás) decoration on it. A soutache is narrow flat decorative braid, a type of galloon, used in the trimming of drapery or clothing. Pet'la Plates are made of brass, they are heavier than the usual stamping plates and their quality is excellent. They are manufactured here in Hungary. They don't have a protective shield thingy on the back, but that's no problem because the edges are not sharp at all. :)

Nemrég újabb Born Pretty Store tesztcsomagom érkezett, ebben pedig egy olyan, a BPS kínálatában található nyomdalemez is lapult, melyet még nem próbáltam. Ez pedig a Qgirl-057 lemez, kíváncsi voltam, miben tér el a sima BP lemezektől. Nos, annyira sokban nem szerintem, csak a nevében. :D Készítettem is vele 2 manikűrt, amit a bejegyzés folytatásában meg is nézhettek. ;)

In my latest Born Pretty Store review package arrived a nail stamping plate that I've never tried before. This is the Qgirl-057 stamping plate, and I was curious to see, how it differs from regular BP stamping plates. Overall, it is not that different, just the name. I've made 2 manicures with it, which you can check out in this review post. ;)

Lakktárolás // Nail polish organization and storage

Már egy ideje gondolkozok azon, hogy elkészítsem a körömlakktárolási módszeremről szóló bejegyzést, de eddig cipősdobozokban voltak, és azt nem tartottam különösebben izgalmasnak... de nemrég lett egy rendes komódom (karácsonyra kaptam), amiben már rendszerezettebben tudom őket tárolni, így egyértelmű volt, hogy ez bejegyzésért kiált. Így a mai poszt erről fog szólni. :)

I wanted to do this 'how I store my nail polish collection' post for a long time, but before this new method, I stored my nail polishes in shoeboxes, which is... not that interesting, in my opinion. But I got this drawer for Christmas, which is amazing to organize my collection, so I thought, it is time to write that storage post. So, here it is. :)
